The Buggy Bunch Programming
Moms and their kids meet for a fun and educational class. The free groups are designed for children ages 0-5, and encourage interactive play. Children in Educational Playgroups learn while singing, talking, reading, playing, and engaging with each other and parents.
Stay & Play:
Moms and their little ones come for some free play in the Learning Loft at The Buggy Bunch Family Center. Stay & Play allows children to have loads of fun in the Learning Loft while parents interact with and meet other parents. There is no RSVP required.
Calvary Cove Playground hosts some fun park play! The playground is private, fenced, and under some shade. Park Play is held from November-May.
Moms and children meet at The Buggy Bunch Family Center for an hour of socialization and playtime. Examples are Sensory Playgroups, Bible Storytime, and Summer Fun Playgroups.
Moms participate in one of our many quarterly Bible Studies while receiving free childcare. Bible Studies are led by wonderful TBB women who also serve as mentors, volunteers, and more.
Children’s Bible Studies:
While moms attend Bible Study, children learn about Jesus Christ in a safe and loving environment. Snacks, crafts, and Christian curriculum are used to share the gospel in the most effective and strategic ways.
Single Moms Group:
Single moms meet together for fellowship and support. Past events have included Single Moms Bible Studies (moms participate in Bible Studies while receiving free childcare) and Single Moms’ Night Out (we provide an evening out with free childcare). Currently, Single Moms group meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month at The Buggy Bunch Family Center. We also love on and support single moms and their families during the holidays through our Christmas Angel Program.
Staff and volunteers pray for and with moms. A Day of Prayer is held once a year at The Buggy Bunch Family Center.
Moms who have suffered a miscarriage, stillbirth, tubal pregnancy, or infant loss meet to encourage each other. Free childcare is provided.
A formal network of mentors and mentees. Seasoned mothers are paired with moms dealing with specific issues like adjusting to mothering, divorce, addiction, abuse, special needs children, adultery, financial struggles, and more. This is typically incorporated into our Bible Studies in a group setting, but mentors and mentees also meet outside of Bible Study individually.
Buggy Bunch & Punch
Moms meet for a Boxing Class led by Sweet Science owner and fitness lover Lucina Gray! Childcare is provided and includes a small fitness portion designed for all ages.
The Buggy Bunch Diaper Closet provides diapers for moms in need. Our Parent Coordinator meets with moms to discuss family well-being, child development, to encourage parent/child engagement, and to receive referrals to local community partners when needed.
The Buggy Bunch offers a variety of marriage enrichment programs and activities throughout the year (most include free childcare), including Marriage Game Night, Marriage Seminars, and Amazing Dates.
